What is ToolHive?

ToolHive is a growing collection of 11 free online tools built for developers, designers, freelancers, and everyday professionals. Every tool — from PDF merging to password generation to timecard tracking — runs entirely in your browser. There are no servers processing your data, no accounts to create, and no files that leave your device.

We built ToolHive because the tools we needed either charged money, forced signups, or quietly uploaded our files to someone else's cloud. We wanted something simpler: open a page, get the job done, close the tab. Nothing more.

Why "zero servers" matters

When a tool runs entirely client-side, your data physically cannot be collected, leaked, or sold. Uploading a PDF to merge pages, pasting a private JSON config, or generating a password are sensitive actions — and they should never depend on trusting a third party. Every ToolHive tool was written with this as the first requirement, not an afterthought. You can confirm it yourself: open your browser's Network tab while using any tool and watch what happens — nothing leaves your device.
